Atonement Lutheran Church in Wyomissing for a Neighborhood Memorial Ceremony [Religion Digest]

September 3 —- Atonement Lutheran Church, 5 Wyomissing Blvd. Wyomissing, Wyomissing, will be holding a neighborhood memorial party next Saturday from 4-7 p.m. to celebrate its 100th anniversary in the community. There will be music by the Noah Gibney Trio as well as the Jordan Bickhart Band along with food, games, activities and a special car show by Skyline Corvette Car Club.

– A concert entitled “For God, and Country” will be held on September 11 at 3 p.m. at St. Catherine’s Cathedral in Siena, 1825 W. Diocesan choirs of the cathedral. First responders are encouraged to wear their uniform. Free will offer will be taken to benefit first responders and the Cathedral Music Program.

—Desire, a doo wop group from the 1950s and 1960s, will perform at Hill Church Picnic Grove, 620 Hill Church Road, Pike Township, September 11 from 4-6 p.m. Food will be available starting at 3 p.m. Concert Rainy or Shine. An offer of free will will be accepted.

-Street. John Reformed Church, 4001 Penn Ave. , Sinking Spring, will be hosting a Grief Sharing Support Group beginning September 15 from 7-8 p.m. at the church. The group will be led by Reverend Jim Bertotti, Senior Pastor, a 13-week session consisting of videos led by Christian experts, group discussion and a personal work book. It is open to the public.
