Murray – People in Callaway County know Dave Carr because of his long career teaching and training at Murray High School, but to his fellow military, he was known for doing many aircraft control assignments for the Army in Vietnam.

Carr is originally from Irvington, New Jersey, and he and several friends attended school in Murray State in the fall of 1963.
