Covered by Bruce Springsteen’s theme, the album tops this week’s music line-up

Bruce Springsteen is the head of this week’s new music releases, but there’s a slew of superstars right behind him, including Brantley Gilbert, Maurice Day, Run The Jewels, Louis Tomlinson and some old school Guns N’ Roses (all subject to change)…

Album of the week: Returning to E Street with his 2020 song “Letter To You,” Bruce Springsteen went to Soulsville on “Only the Strong Survive” (Columbia), covering 15 favorite R&B musicians from the canons of The Four Tops, The Temptations, Jerry Butler, The Commodores, Jimmy Reuven, Superms, Tyrone Davis, and others. Sam Moore’s guests are on two tracks, but there’s no indication that Springsteen is planning to change his name to Dave just yet…

Album title of the week: Catch, “You Have Love (But Even It Rips You)” (Nevado Music)

Did you know?: LS Dunes is a new rock group featuring members from My Chemical Romance, Circa Survive, Coheed & Cambria, and Thursdays. The quintet’s debut album, “Past Lives” (Fantasy) will be released on Friday, November 11th.
