Eduard Folayang is back at ONE on Prime Video 5

Finally, Edward Fulayang has been confirmed as a confirmed opponent for ONE on Prime Video 5. He will face Filipino Edson Barboza at the MOA Arena on December 3.

He was initially scheduled to face Fulayang Yoshihiro Akiyama next month. But the Japanese veteran refused to fight, according to reports in the Philippines.

Folayang (22-12) lost his last four MMA fights. But he defeated John Wayne Barr at the Battle of Muay Thai at ONE: ‘X’ earlier this year.

Marquez (10-2) recently scored his first ONE Championship win at the third attempt. He defeated Kyung Rok Kim with his own decision after being stopped in his two previous fights for promotion.

Unbeaten heroes

The two undefeated champions will go head-to-head at ONE on Prime Video 5. Reinier de Ridder and Anatoly Malykhin will face off with the first to put his light heavyweight title on the line.

D-Rider (16-0) holds the mediumweight and light heavyweight belts. He was talking about moving to heavyweight in order to challenge for a third title.

But instead, Malekhin will move lower. He weighed 108.75kg in his last heavyweight fight, so he will need to lose just over 6kg plus pass hydration tests in order to challenge the de-rider title.

Malikhin (12-0) holds the provisional heavyweight title. He was scheduled to face regular champion Arjan Bhullar and that match was booked for ONE 161 but the Canadian appears to be injured.

pound pound

As previously announced Superbon Banchamek, who has established himself as the best kickboxer on the planet after defeating Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong, Giorgio Petrosyan and Marat Grigorian, will defend his title at ONE on Prime Video 5. He is setting up the featherweight kickboxing title. The line against Genghis Alazov.

The fight was originally scheduled for ONE on Prime Video 2 but was canceled after both men were injured. He will face the newly crowned Grand Prix winner in the featherweight.

Allazov beat Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong by decision in the ONE Grand Prix Final: ‘X’. He stopped both of his previous opponents in the opening round during the tournament.

The Superbon will go down in history as the man who shocked the world by firing Giorgio Petrosyan. Two-time K-1 Max champion finished with a header in ONE: First Strike:

long overdue

As previously announced, Roberto Soldyck will make his long-awaited ONE debut on December 2. He will face Croatian welterweight Murat Ramadanov in Manila.

The fight is set on the MOA Arena and will take place on December 3rd, which is Saturday morning (local time). Soldic was one of the sport’s most wanted free agents when his contract with KSW expired earlier this year.

The Croatian has been registered by the ONE Championship and looks like he will be a serious contender in the welterweight division.

winning streak

Soldier’s seven-fight winning streak has seen him capture the welterweight and middleweight titles at KSW. Six of those victories came from close range, with the Croatian beating the likes of Dreikos de Plessis and Mamed Khalidov.

He also has a 4-0 record in boxing with all four wins coming in the first two rounds. Soldyck was by his cage to see teammate Martin Bator win the 160th, and that victory was later rescinded when he tested positive for PEDs.

Ramazanov has already won three fights out of the three in the ONE Tournament. The Russian defeated Zbastian Kadestam, Hiroyuki Tetsuka and Myung Ho-bae.

The ONE Championship does not currently have welterweight rankings but Ramazanov will definitely be No. 1. Kadestam is a former champion while Tetsuka and Bae both hold the 170 lb titles with Pancrase and Legend FC respectively.

The Queen’s Homecoming

Denice Zamboanga will fight in Manila for the first time since 2018. The Filipino is booked to face Lin Heqin at ONE on Prime Video 5.

Zamboanga (8-2) has not won a fight in over two years. She was promised a shot at her weight title but missed it after pregnant Angela Lee.

Instead, Zamboanga had to settle for a spot in the Heavyweight Grand Prix and was eliminated by Seo Hee Hamm. This decision was so controversial that an immediate rematch was requested but the result was the same, albeit this time the Koreans won more clearly.

Heqin (15-4-1) has won two out of four matches since signing for the ONE Championship. She beat Bi Nguyen and Jomary Torres and her last fight was very close with Itsuki Hirata claiming a narrow victory.

address consolidation

Meanwhile, Allycia Rodrigues and Janet Todd will finally fight for ONE on Prime Video 5. The fight has been several years in the making and you will have the undisputed Muay Thai title on the line.

Rodriguez is the regular champ while Todd holds the interim belt. The Brazilian was off play for nearly two years after she got pregnant and gave birth to her first son.

Meanwhile, Todd currently holds the atomic weight kickboxing titles and the provisional Muay Thai titles. The American has won her last seven fights at ONE and will look to follow in the footsteps of Stamp Fairtex by becoming the undisputed champion of the sport.

Rodriguez returns to Phuket Combat Club to prepare for her first title defense. Apparently she was there almost three months after she returned to Brazil for the birth of her baby:
