Jack Paul wasn’t able to face Hashim Rehman Jr. as scheduled, but was still looking to fall back in the ring after one of his brother’s former opponents needed a fight at short notice.
On Saturday, Paul called up fellow YouTuber-turned-boxer KSI, who beat Logan Paul, after his next fight was called off due to a concussion that sustained Alex Wasabi. Paul requested a fight while also agreeing to weight requirements and naming KSI the “A” side of the bout with the hope that they could clash on August 27.
“I heard Alex was discharged with a concussion. F ***** arrives. This was a huge opportunity for Alex. Paul wrote on Twitter.
“KSI…everything happens for a reason. I will come to fight in your town. Your boxing company. You are on the side. I also agree to win 180 pounds on August 27. Do you accept?”
I heard Alex has a concussion. fucked. This was a huge opportunity for Alex. He will be back.
KSI… Everything happens for a reason. I will come to fight in your town. Your boxing company. You are on the side.
I also agree to win 180 pounds on August 27th.

Paul continued to target KSI in a series of posts while also making a prediction about why he didn’t believe the fight would actually meet in a few weeks.
“Expecting a response from KSI: I accept, hahahaha I’ll do that with Jack Paul, hahahahaha. He needs me, hahahahaha.” But my team told me I had to wait to make this a big event. etc etc etc.
“KSI and the little misfits are scrambling to try and figure out the perfect response.”

Paul then added that his manager claimed that KSI would accept the fight but only if “The Problem Child” agreed to compete for free with his opponent to earn all revenue from the event.
“I said hurry up and send me the contract,” Paul wrote.
My boss just told me KSI is down but only if I burn it for free and keep all the revenue. This is what they offer…
I said hurry up and send me the contract.

In response, KSI said that after Wassabi exited the fight, his team had already called another opponent to intervene and confront them at short notice in August.
Paul mocked these allegations while offering to pay a fee to the opponent so he could eventually secure the match with KSI.
In the end, KSI said he was happy to accept a fight against Paul – but not on August 27.
“We will fight on my terms and when we do, it will be on the bigger stage,” KSI wrote. “I’m talking about the Wembley Stadium family. With an entire camp built just for you and me, there are no excuses when we fight. None of that short notice is *** Jake Paul.”

I will respect my words to my audience and my opponent because my word means something different from you.
The show will run on August 27 and neither you nor the MVP has anything to do with it.
Enjoy your night my friend Tweet embed

Paul ended his speech to KSI by calling his response “officially the biggest duck ever”.
Of course, the rivalry between Paul and KSI runs deeper than just boxing matches with Logan Paul in the past.
The night KSI tied Logan in an amateur boxing match, Jake Paul fought Deji Olatunji, KSI’s younger brother. Paul Olatunji blasted with punches to make a fifth round TKO in what was the only amateur bout of his career before turning professional as he has hit a record 5-0 thus far.
Judging by the interaction on social media, Paul may have found a new opponent after both Rahman and Tommy Fury couldn’t face him in August, but it doesn’t look like he’ll get his wish for the competition before the end of the month.
